The project with the International Foundation for Rural Development as a partner organization was supported by the EASTERN PARTNERSHIP Civil Society Forum
From April 1, 2020 the non-governmental organization "Pro Regional Cooperation" (Moldova), together with the International Foundation for Rural Development (Belarus) and Kharkiv Regional Organization of the Professional Union of Entrepreneurs (Ukraine) started a joint project with a 7 months duration.
The project is aimed at sharing the experience and best practices of Ukraine in introducing the smart specialization approach to Moldova and Belarus. Moreover, the project will contribute to identifying ideas that could work in the target Eastern partnership countries and to test these ideas in practice by organizing regional events.
In addition, the project aims at encouraging the government to adopt and implement regional development strategies that will be beneficial for public-private dialogue, SMEs, and innovation ecosystems functioning in the regions of the EaP partner countries.
